Hepcomotion Launches Ring Track System At Mach
Linear motion specialist Hepcomotion launched the PRT2 precision ring track system at Mach 2010. The PRT2 system introduces an expanded range of sizes, including stainless-steel elements as standard. This friction-free, debris-tolerant system also includes several new options that enable reliable technical solutions to be engineered, according to the company.
John Palmer, sales manager, said: 'We now have many live projects for this new introduction and they are quite diverse. 'A typical example is a three-axis assembly robot where the Hepcomotion ring with gear drive provides an ideal platform on which to mount a robot. 'The large-diameter disc with Hepcomotion bearings gives support of the periphery, ensuring excellent stability and friction-free motion,' he added.
