FDB Introduces Space-Saving Concealed Hinge

FDB Panel Fittings has launched a concealed hinge, which is suitable for nested doors such as 19in (48cm) cabinets and wall-mounted racks and for quick-access side panels on standalone cabinets. The space-saving design enables a simple clip-in fitting at both the top and the bottom of the door without any tools, while a manually operated sprung pin facilitates installation and removal.

The hinge pin body incorporates an integral spacer/bearing washer for smooth operation and can be quickly clipped into a 10mm-diameter hole with ramped clips to accommodate thicknesses from 1.4mm to 1.6mm. The new hinge is suitable for light duty panels or doors such as those found on housings and 19in cabinets for electronics, factory and building control systems and aerospace, military and astronomical observation.
