Calibrator For Field Or Laboratory Applications

The CPH6600 handheld multifunction calibrator from Wika is designed for use in calibration services, service and maintenance companies, instrument and control workshops and quality assurance. The CPH6600 incorporates an electric pump capable of generating vacuum/pressure from -0.8 bar up to 10 bar. Pressure generation can be extended up to 20 bar with usage of an optional integrated hand pump and an external pressure transducer can also be fitted, allowing further ranges of up to 700 bar.

Primarily designed for use in the field or laboratory applications, the CPH6600 has a certified accuracy of 0.025 per cent FS and can also incorporate a Pt100 RTD, allowing simultaneous pressure and temperature measurements. The CPH6600 also has the capability to source/measure 4-20mA and a 24V loop power. The robust instrument weighs less than 1kg and is moulded to fit the user's hand perfectly. The functional design and large LCD screen ensures the CPH6600 is user-friendly.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
