CTA103 Accelerometers Allow Condition Monitoring

CTA103 accelerometers enable condition monitoring, sports dynamics, aerospace, defence, marine, offshore, troubleshooting, rail/road vehicles, factory/site machinery, R and D, and troubleshooting. Able to withstand up to 4,000G of acceleration overload, the transducers are available with 0.5-4.5V voltage output (CTA103V), or with a 4-20mA current loop output (CTA103A). The MEMS precision capacitative silicon devices that form the cores of the accelerometers are potted in a 30 x 25 x 15mm, IP65 aluminium housing to provide maximum reliability.

The modules may be supplied with a 'flying lead' integral cable, or with a sub-miniature mil-spec plug connector. The accelerometers are available with sensitivities from +/-2 to+/-200g and have a bandwidth from DC up to 1,500Hz and a resonant frequency of 5kHz. The voltage-output options include a choice of supply voltage between 5 or 8-16V DC. Their operating temperature range is -55 to 125C, with their compensated temperature range being -20 to 70C, and they can be supplied with calibration certificates traceable to national standards.
