Accelerometer Measures Underwater Vibrations

Bruel and Kjaer has introduced the high-temperature Deltatron (IEPE) accelerometers and waterproof cable assemblies for making vibration measurements in wet conditions at temperatures up to 150C. This new device replaces the Deltatron Type 5958-A accelerometer as the company's most appropriate solution for making vibration measurements under water or in situations of temporary submersion.

The Type WL-3330 cable assembly can be used with any hermetically sealed titanium construction accelerometer, with either top or side 10-32 UNF connector. Bruel and Kjaer's accelerometers are suitable for a range of applications within industries such as automotive, aerospace and defence.
