Flame Cutting Machine Features Plasma Torch Option

The portable IMP flame cutting machine from ESAB can now be fitted with a plasma torch for light plasma cutting operations. The IMP is light, well balanced and is said to be easy to carry and position. Whether on track or free standing, the stability of design guarantees smooth, accurate cuts across the whole range of plate thicknesses, said ESAB.

The IMP is also available with either a single or twin oxy-fuel cutting torches. Depending on equipment specification, the IMP is suitable for straight cuts, contour cutting, oblique cutting, circular cuts and the preparation of welding edges.
