Miniature SMD Oscillators with Differential Output
Targeted at Ethernet, microprocessors and general applications that have requirements for oscillators, TFC's smd oscillators with a differential output are now available in a smaller package. Measuring 5.0x3.2mm, the OVT series is an industry standard sized package, with a compatible footprint and pin-out, offering a differential output of PECL or LVDS.
With an integrated phase jitter of only 200~ 300fs, the OVT series offers a superior phase noise of -138dBc/Hz (based on a typical 125MHz device), with an extremely low current consumption from 16mA. It is available with a 2.5V or 3.3V supply voltage within a wide frequency range without a PLL or multiplier of 40MHz ~ 200MHz.
TFC Marketing Manager, Craig Wells said "This is our smallest oscillator with an LVDS or LVPECL output. It offers a high performance in one of our most popular sized packages, so we expect that this could be a popular choice."
