Axium Process has a Handle on Liquid Sampling Devices

Axium Process, filtration specialists, has now introduced coloured coded handles to their range of compact, 316L stainless steel, in-line sample valves enabling quicker and accurate identification of pipeline sample points.

The handles which help reduce heat transfer to the hand, are of an intrinsically safe design as they cannot be accidentally over tightened or accidentally dismantled whilst in operation.

Available with material certification to BS EN 10204. 3.1, Axium’s range of hygienic manual sample valves is designed with an internal crevice free construction using an FDA approved elastomer boot to enhance its hygienic properties and is available with a 4mm entry port as standard or an 8mm entry port for viscous or particulate containing applications.

The valves, which can withstand pressures of up to 10 Bar, are suitable for clean-in-place (CIP) and are easily fitted with a clamp connection as standard.   Clamp seals are available in a range of FDA approved

polymers including EPDM,Viton®, Nitrile, Silicone, Encapsulated and Solid PTFE.

As well as being a safe and efficient method of taking manual samples, Axium’s range of sample valves can also be used as miniature drain or vent valves.
