METTLER TOLEDO’s compact OptiMax™ synthesis workstation is set up in minutes and can be easily operated from -40 °C to 180 °C without the need for a cumbersome oil or ice bath or a bulky cryostat. It is small, mobile and its entire functionality is integrated into one box. Reactor stands and cover holders ensure all equipment is stored securely and always within reach.
The large, illuminated front window provides chemists an excellent view into their chemistry, enabling reaction mass observation. Physical changes and transitions of the reaction mass become immediately apparent.

One-Click Operation
The handling of the smart and intuitive touch-screen is effortless and does not require training. All functions are easily accessible and reaction parameters are changed quickly. Changing target values or starting the addition of a reactant is straightforward and doesn’t require constant supervision. A sequence of consecutive synthesis tasks can be pre-programmed and run completely unattended. The experiment information is presented in real time as either trends or numbers. Zoom in and out, change the graphical representation or substitute data displayed by others with only a few touches.

Changing the experiment configuration takes a matter of seconds. Depending on the nature of the experiment, the appropriate configuration can be chosen from a wide range of different types and volumes of reactors and accessories. Stirrers specifically designed for each of the vessels guarantee vigorous and efficient mixing.
Information at a Glance
During the course of the experiment, all data points and events are recorded automatically. Transferring the data to a PC or an eLabNotebook is a simple task. The data can be processed further with the powerful iControl™ software or MS-Excel to obtain additional high quality information.
