Wenzel To Show Fast Mobile Scanning At Mach 2010
At Mach 2010, Wenzel UK will introduce its Mobilescan3D portable measuring and scanning system for reverse engineering, CAD comparison inspection and first article inspection services. Mach 2010 is being held at the NEC in Birmingham from 7 to 11 June. It can provide automatic non-contact scanning with full CNC control using a simple user interface. Mobilescan3D has full three-axis CNC capability that scans many millions of points using a red laser stripe at unrivalled speed and precision.
Three different sensors are available, with accuracy from the 100mm sensor of +/-10um. Mobilescan can be used on both small- and large-scale components. Mobilescan3D is ideal for reverse engineering, CAD comparison inspection and first article inspection services. Wenzel UK will introduce a new range of non-contact scanning services at Mach 2010. Wenzel UK is offering two new non-contact scanning services using the latest Wenzel Technology in the Mobilescan3D and the industrial CT machine from Wenzel called Exact.
Customers can now send components for non-contact scanning or CT analysis, and in the case of Mobilescan have this service performed at their own location if required.
