Power Supply For Factory Automation Applications

Ecopac Power has introduced a new range of Mean Well power supplies with the launch of the ELP-75 series - a 75W AC/DC open-frame power supply for factory automation applications and industry. With high efficiency, low no-load power consumption and cost-effective, these PCB-type power supplies are designed to install directly into system chassis. Compared with the first generation LPS-75 series, the efficiency of the ELP-75 series has been increased by up to 11 per cent.

With advanced, high-efficiency circuit design, the ELP-75 series has 90-264VAC universal AC input with up to 90 per cent of high efficiency. The working temperature range operates from -30C to +70C ambient temperature. Incorporating built-in active PFC function, the ELP-75 series meets the requirements of EN61000-3-2 for harmonic current, reducing the interference caused by AC mains to the end system. Protections include short circuit, overload and over voltage with low no-load power consumption of less than 0.5W.

This allows designers to conform to the requirements of Energy-related Products for end-user systems. The ELP-75 series also complies with UL/CUL/TUV/CB/CE. Suitable applications include factory automation, electrical and mechanical industry, and all applications that require low no-load power consumption and high operating efficiency.
