PLL Is Ideal For Fixed Wireless Applications

Z-Communications has launched a RoHS-compliant phase-locked loop (PLL) model PCA1292B in L-band for fixed wireless and microwave radio applications that require ultra-low phase-noise performance. The PCA1292B-LF operates from 1,292-1,298MHz and features a typical phase noise of -105dBc/Hz at 10KHz offset and typical sideband spurs of -70dBc. The PLL is designed to deliver a typical output power of 0.5dBm at 3.3VDC while drawing 23mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40C to 85C.

It features typical second harmonic suppression of -15dBc and comes in Z-Communications' cPLL standard package measuring 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.13in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The PCA1292B-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
