ESAB CD Details Submerged Arc Welding

ESAB, a supplier of welding equipment and consumables, has produced a CD version of its latest technical handbook entitled 'Submerged Arc Welding'. The printed document is A4 in size and contains almost 100 pages. The CD format of the publication is said to be easier to transport and use. Pages of the handbook can be emailed directly from the CD to welding operatives on site, ensuring the most suitable materials are specified. As with the paper copy, the CD is split into specific areas.

The first being the flux selection, followed by clear flux product data pages, supported throughout by photography and diagrams, plus charts where necessary. The general information section towards the end of the handbook contains 30 pages that includes a troubleshooting guide, data on weld metal alloying, the automation process and SAW joint preparations, as well as the submerged arc welding process. ESAB is able to offer additional specific technical guidance relating to exact user requirements.
