RTC-1000AS For Use In Harsh Environments

Aaeon has brought out the RTC-1000AS, a powerful rugged tablet computer that is suitable for use in harsh environments. It also features a 10.2in (259.1mm) sunlight-readable panel with 500nits brightness and is slimmer in design compared with Aaeon's previous RTCs. The RTC-1000AS is equipped with the Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor and includes one 200-pin DDR II SODIMM socket (up to 2GB).

The unit offers flexible I/Os and storage such as two USB 2.0s, one mini USB, one RS-232, PCMCIA, two internal mini cards, and one Compactflash slot for versatile expansions. The system memory is optional based on customer requirements.
