T And D Launches Four-Parameter Data Logger

T and D has introduced the TR-74Ui four-parameter data logger, which can simultaneously measure and record four parameters: illuminance, ultraviolet (UV), temperature and humidity. The TR-74Ui is also capable of displaying cumulative illuminance and the cumulative amount of UV light in an LCD display. The wide luminosity range covers 0-130,000lx and low-light resolution to 0.01lx. The UV range covers 0-30mw/cm2.

The internal accumulation of exposure is for both light and UV. The TR-74Ui has a relative-humidity range from 10 per cent to 99 per cent, along with an expanded temperature range from 0C to +55C. This compact, lightweight unit measures approximately 2 x 3in (5 x 7.6cm) and operates on one AA battery.

The TR-74Ui has a large data capacity that can store up to 8,000 readings multiplied by four channels for a total of 32,000 readings in the one-time or the endless recording mode. By connecting to a computer via a USB port, the recorded data can be quickly downloaded with the software.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays.
