GemRam - Quick and Easy Gemstone Identification Solution
Introducing the GemRam™ from B&W Tek, a new lightweight portable Raman spectrometer dedicated to the verification of known gemstones and the identification of unknown gemstones.
Utilising a spectrum stabilised 785nm diode laser, and a high resolution TE cooled spectrometer the GemRam™ provides spectral accuracy and repeatability all within a compact and easily portable system.
Benefits include:
The spectral library has been developed by Professor H.A. Hanni and Professor Johannes Hunziker, of GemExpert GmbH, who are world class authorities on gemology. The library includes almost 400 different precious and semi-precious gemstones in all classes, including: borates, carbonates, halides, native elements, oxides, phosphates, silicates, sulphates and sulphides. All entries include commercial names, images and country of origin along with other useful information to enable quick and easy identification. Users can easily add spectra from new gemstones to the library.
The GemRam™ is designed for customers who need a tool to identify and verify gemstones, either individual pieces or within collections, from around the world. GemRam™ is manufactured by B&W Tek, sold and supported in the UK by Lambda Photometrics, and is and available now.
