ARBOR Presented Medical & Healthcare Solutions in 2011 Taiwan Medical Week

2011 Taiwan Medical Week, the annual professional medical conference, held on Nov. 12 to 13 by Formosan Medical Association at NTUH International Convention Center and National Taiwan University College of Medicine. The agenda included more than 50 specific medical and healthcare-related lectures in this 2-day conference, as well as medical trade show which included more than 60 exhibitors in wide variety of medical supplies.

In the medical trade show, ARBOR showcased our Mobile Clinical Assistant (MCA) and Patient Infotainment System series products to present our technology and offer solutions to clinic and healthcare institutions. As a professional medical computing provider, ARBOR has taken great effort to develop new products for medical and healthcare market. FUSE SIZING CONSIDERATIONS FOR HIGHER EFFICIENCY MOTORS

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved. However, if sizing at this level prevents the motor from starting, it may then be necessary to increase the fuse ampere rating and it then becomes important to know the NEC sizing limitations.
