Fix for Error Message "Failed to Find the ICONNECT Dongle"

Recently any ICONNECT based application running without dongle shows an error message "failed to find the ICONNECT dongle".

We investigated the problem and developed the patch attached in the download section.

Usage: please extract the ZIP file attached and copy the FixICONNECT.exe included into your application directory. Please double click FixICONNECT.exe within your application directory, it will then patch the application.

FixICONNECT.exe needs admin privilege.
For Windows 7 the UAC screen will show up.
For Windows XP you might need Windows explorer context menu "Execute at..."

Hint: this fix only works in its current directory! If you have multiple applications on your machine, please execute FixICONNECT multiple times.

New versions of our tools - no longer showing this issue - are released already and available in the download box on the right.
