They are designed and tested to meet military specifications found in MIL-PRF-55629 MIL-std-202. The circuit breakers also meet government procurement requirements for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products.

Carling Technologies offers a range of sizes, from miniature M-series hydraulic magnetic circuit breakers (0.02A to 25A), to the UL489 C-series and the E-series hydraulic magnetic circuit breakers (0.02A to 100A), to the F-series hydraulic/magnetic circuit breakers (100A to 700A).

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays.
