Mate's free, 28-page catalogue serves as reference for planning fabricating projects and features Salvagnini Type II/III tooling, Type 70/90 tooling, guided assemblies and PU/PB forming assemblies. Included within Mate's inventory offered for fast delivery are its high-speed steel punches, dies and strippers, designed compliment Salvagnini's high-performance punching system. Manufactured from premium powdered-metal-based high-speed steel, Mate punches provide long tool life under extreme punching conditions.

They have high abrasion resistance, high anti-galling properties and good hot and red hardness. Perforating strippers are fully guided with a design that supports the punch point throughout the punching cycle. They are made of high-strength tool steel that will not deform or break. Dies are made of high-speed tool steel with Slug Free dies available as an option for Type III stations at no additional cost. Mate's complete range of standards, special shapes and forming assemblies are available to expand Salvagnini's complete fabricating system to the fullest.

Dies are available in a wide variety of standard and special shapes to a clearance of your choice. Special assemblies for Salvagnini are available for Type III tooling to perform slitting, shearing, multiple parts on sheet (shake-and-break) and tabbing functions. Available special assemblies include threadform, louver, beading, embossing, stamping, knockout and cluster punch assemblies.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays.
