Oils And Greases For General Engineering Purposes

Macdermid has developed a range of lubricating oils, greases and corrosion-protective products used in general engineering applications. The company's focus is to develop and manufacture products that are cost-effective with consistent performance. Vinbrite A6 is a solvent-based corrosion protective, depositing a thin oil film for inter-op protection with Rolls-Royce approval. Vinbrite D6 is a highly refined mineral-oil-based inter-op corrosion protective with Rolls-Royce approval.

Vinbrite D12 is a low-odour barium metal-free, solvent-based protective with non-sticky, dry, ultra-thin-film, provides five-year corrosion protection indoors and one-year covered outdoors. Vinbrite 108 is a barium metal-free, solvent-based, corrosion protective depositing a thin greasy film for medium-term indoor and outdoor protection. Vinbrite 109 is a barium metal-free, solvent-based corrosion protective depositing a thin greasy film for long-term indoor and outdoor protection. Vinbrite D6 spray is a high-quality penetrating oil with anti-seize and anti-rust properties.

Release wax 632SG is a low-odour complex wax with efficient, clean, mould release properties. Vinslip CG/T is a high-temperature graphited lubricant for plunger and extrusion applications. Mar-Clean H58 and H64 are quick-drying, hydrocarbon solvent-based cleaners. Vindie KKL is a graphited lubricating oil with MOD approval. Mar-Gear 68 and 220 are premium chlorine-free EP, highly refined mineral oil gear fluids.

Mar-Drive 32 and 46 are premium anti-wear, highly refined mineral oil based hydraulic fluids. Mar-Slide 32, 68 and 220 are premium chlorine-free, highly refined mineral-oil-based tacky slide-way fluids. Mar-Pressor 46 and 68 are premium long-life, highly mineral-oil-based compressor fluids. Mar-Grease LCEP2 is a premium lithium complex grease based on highly refined mineral oil (NLGI #2).

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays.
