Energy Chains And Cables For Machine Tool Industry

Igus UK offers a range of products, including energy chains and cables, designed to make manufacturers' machinery work more effectively. Igus polymer energy chains are designed to guide and protect the cables and hoses. These include the Igus RX tube, which is designed specifically for the machine tool industry. It is a smooth, enclosed energy chain that prevents swarf getting into the chain and damaging the cables and, with the Igus HT material, can give protection from hot chips up to +850C.

Igus Chainflex cables are designed to survive inside energy chains for millions of movements, even where oil and coolant are present. A full range of cables for servo drive, encoder, bus and signal is available. Igus UK also offers ready-made systems, designed and assembled to the customer's requirements. These range from supplying the Chainflex electrical cables with the connectors already fitted to a fully harnessed energy chain complete with all necessary cables, hoses and connectors.
