Krohne Plans More Process Measurement Seminars

The Krohne Academy, a series of seminars titled 'Process Measurement and Automation Control in Practice', will continue throughout June in Middlesbrough and Aberdeen. The one-day seminars - which are run in collaboration with companies including Hima-Sella, Samson Controls and Phoenix Contact, with a guest speaker from Sira - address key operating issues, ranging from plant safety through to ways of increasing plant efficiency and controlling costs.

Presentations run simultaneously in four separate rooms, allowing delegates to pick and choose which seminar to attend according to the topic that is of most relevance to them. Aimed at plant engineers, operators and contractors from across the process industries, the Krohne Academy is said to provide an opportunity for attendees to benefit from the expertise of specialists in the field of functional safety (SIL), measurement and control technology all under one roof.

Running alongside the seminar programme is an exhibition that shows possible solutions to some of the topics discussed throughout the seminar and allows delegates to have one-on-one discussions with the speakers and to benefit from their application knowledge. The Krohne Academy will arrive in Middlesbrough on 13 June and will take place in Aberdeen on 15-16 June. It is a free event, but spaces are limited.
