SDK for Control of High-Speed Imaging Devices

Photron has added a device controller software development kit (SDK) for both Matlab and National Instruments' Labview to the Photron Fastcam Viewer (PFV) software package. The new PFV functionality integrates control of Photron's range of high-speed cameras with the customer's existing Matlab and Labview functionality, enabling seamless high-speed image acquisition and download, as well as slow-motion video replay.

Photron's software's user interface provides easy access to integrate complex functionality with the cameras ability to capture, replay and produce high-speed image sequences in industry-standard file formats, including AVI (Windows video), MOV (Apple Quicktime video), TIFF (8bit or 26bit file formats), JPEG, BMP, PNG, RAW and RAWW (native camera file formats).
