NBR-Based Material Suitable for O-Rings and Seals

Freudenberg Simrit has developed a high-temperature NBR material, which can be used to develop uniform NBR-based solutions for engine, transmission, steering and pneumatic brake applications.

To improve the heat resistance of this material, which can be used at temperatures of up to 120C, and up to 130C for short periods, the company has simply changed its formulation. The new HT-NBR sealing material is especially useful for O-rings and static seals and will be presented at the Hanover Trade Fair 2011 on Stand B 26 in Hall 19.
