T6112DS prints small-sized marker sleeves

Tyco's lightweight, high-accuracy T6112DS printer is said to offer superior print position accuracy, making it ideal for printing small-sized marker sleeves. The double-sided T6112DS, which replaces the company's T612M series printers, features two stacked print head assemblies for simultaneous printing of front and back. The device is said to exhibit high levels of print quality and image clarity on all recommended Tyco Electronics marker sleeves, including TTMS continuous marker sleeves.

Benefiting from a smaller footprint than existing double sided printers from Tyco Electronics, the T6112DS device features a simple ribbon and media loading procedure. The automatic calibration reduces sleeve waste by nearly 50 per cent during initial calibration, when compared with the T612M. Technical details include print speeds of 30, 40, 50, 75, 100 and 125mm/s, and a maximum print width of 105.6mm. The printing method is 300dpi thermal transfer. Optional perforator and cutter units are available, which can be employed when printing TTMS continuous marker sleeves.
