OLED modules replace character LCD displays

GPEG is reintroducing character OLED modules that are direct mechanical, electrical and software replacements for existing character LCD displays. The modules include: FDO1602 16 characters x two lines; FDO2020 20 characters x two lines: and FDO1604 16 characters x two lines. Each of these OLED display modules is available with a choice of green, yellow or white characters on a black background. The mechanical dimensions, pin outs and software requirements are directly compatible with their LCD module equivalents.

This feature ensures that existing LCD modules can be replaced by the OLED display, which enables customers to easily upgrade their existing products so that they benefit from the OLED features of: high contrast, wide viewing angle, low power consumption and a choice of character colour.
