Chemineer Supplies Static Mixers To Water Works
Large static mixers made by Chemineer have been added to Severn Trent Water's water treatment works (WTW) in Frankley, Birmingham, UK, where Morgan Sindall has completed a recent upgrade. Designed in conjunction with Morgan Sindall engineers to meet specific water treatment applications, Chemineer's 1,600mm Kenics HEVW static mixers provide precise blending and dispersion of all flow-capable materials by redirecting flow patterns already present in empty piping.
Utilised for disinfection and orthophosphoric acid and flash mixing, the static mixers can adapt to any piping system. A result of lengthy technical design work, which also included input from Severn Trent Water engineers, the large and complex HEVW statics are manufactured without moving parts.
