Ondrives Introduces Commercial And Precision Gears

Ondrives has added a commercial and precision gear range to its product portfolio, further enhancing its recently launched power transmission series. The range of products consists of bevel gears, worms and wheels, anti-backlash wormwheels, internal gears, anti-backlash gears, parallel and crossed helical gears, spur gears, pinion shafts, timing pulleys, belts, sprockets and chains.

These are all contained within a separate gears and gearboxes catalogue. Various MOD sizes are available across the entire precision and commercial gear range, from 0.5 MOD to 8 MOD, along with different material types to suit every type of application and environment. According to the company, 214M15/045M10 steel is the most popular, with Delrin also available to order. Standards are mainly stocked on the shelf for both gears and gearboxes in order to satisfy urgent requirements; specials are available to meet customer requests.

Specials are dealt with quickly and easily thanks to investments in the latest 3D computer-aided-design (CAD) software (with four seats) and up-to-date CNC machinery and technology. The gearbox range includes various types, ranging from wormwheel, double-reduction, crossed-helical, bevel, bevel-tee, bevel-bore, spiral-bevel, spur-gear, epicyclic, taper and planetary versions to gearbox shafts and rack/pinion actuators.
