Matrox Provides Design Assistant Training
Matrox Imaging has announced that it is now offering Matrox Design Assistant for Matrox Iris GT classroom training from 5-7 October 2010 at its Montreal, Canada, headquarters. During the training, students will learn how to develop applications using Design Assistant, an extendable integrated development environment (IDE) for the Iris GT smart camera.
Designed for systems integrators, in-house integration specialists, machine builders and OEMs who develop vision or inspection systems, this training teaches students how to: quickly and easily configure and deploy vision applications by constructing a flowchart instead of writing traditional program code; set up the operator view (HMI); choose the best analysis and processing tools for their application; and interface to automation equipment such as PLCs, all within Design Assistant's IDE.
One-on-one time with developers and 'hands-on' workshops ensure that students leave the training with the knowledge needed to solve real-world applications. Students who register for Matrox Design Assistant for Matrox Iris GT training before 4 September will save 20 per cent on the cost of tuition. Students must register for training in advance.
