Case Packer Ensures Jam-Resistant Operation

Standard-Knapp has launched a continuous-motion case packer designed to enhance the packaging of bottles, including soft-drink, beer, wine, food and household products. The positive, continuous operation of the Pakmore case packer is a high-speed, low-maintenance process that yields greater efficiency than traditional case packers, according to the company. The Pakmore uses Standard-Knapp's pressure-less Zero-Gap Infeed for smooth bottle laning, ensuring balanced lines and jam-resistant operation.

Capable of packing up to 75 cases per minute, the Pakmore case packer reduces operational costs. Designed to maximise placement accuracy and minimise bottle damage, the Pakmore's technologically advanced, dual-axis servo grouper and gripper heads pick up bottles and safely lower them into the case. The ergonomic design of Pakmore's automated head changeover feature and automatic fault recovery system ensure that the packer is reliable and efficient.

Additional features of the Pakmore allow for the flexibility of an inline or peninsula layout as well as an optional tablock slitter. Standard-Knapp offers 24-hour customer service assistance as well as machine training programmes for the Pakmore continuous-motion case packer.
