Precision Micro Gains AS 9100 Certification

Precision Micro, the UK precision-components manufacturer, has been certified to AS 9100, the quality-management standard developed for the aviation, space and defence industries. AS 9100 is a single, common quality-management system for the whole aerospace industry, satisfying DOD, NASA and FAA quality requirements.

It encompasses ISO 9001, combining it with additional requirements designed to address regulatory compliance and other aerospace-sector specific issues. Precision Micro already holds a raft of approvals from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and major international companies including TRW Aeronautical, Goodrich, BAE Systems, Raytheon, Thales and Westland.
