Sample Preparation with IKA

Safe and convenient: the new UTTD control with hermetically sealable, single-use sample vessels is now suitable for use in even more applications.

Unique and patented: the IKA® ULTRA-TURRAX® Tube Drive system with hermetically sealable sample vessels. The drive system with its universal, single-use tubes is particularly suitable for processing infectious, toxic and high-odor sample materials. Tests can be reproduced at any time with no risk of cross contamination between individual samples.
Three different types of sample preparation tube are available in 20 mL and 50 mL sizes, guaranteeing that there is always the right tube for the job:
  • Stirring Tube (ST): mixing/dissolving with energy input to sample variable from low to very high
  • Dispersing Tube (DT): Homogenizing in a standardized environment
  • Ball Mill Tube (BMT): Homogenizing, milling, mixing and dissolving with aid of steel, glass or ceramic balls
New with the "control" model: reverse rotation and turbo functions for optimized mixing and milling effect. A USB interface is provide to allow tests to be documented and controlled using a PC. A simple menu system and multilingual LED display ensure that the device is easy to operate, with all test parameters displayed digitally.
