Monochrome to Colour Made Much Easier

The new combination of TFT with on-board ASIC controller from GTK offers OEM's a number of advantages over the traditional TFT product. It retains all the functionality of traditional TFT's but the additional controller makes programming and interfacing much simpler and the transition from mono graphic to colour displays is easier.

The TFT product is available in 3.5", 4.0", 4.3" and 5.7" sizes as standard. It has wide viewing angles with good contrast and brightness levels, and operates comfortably between temperatures of -20 to +70°C. It also features an 8/9/16/18 bit 80/68 series MCU Interface.

Clive Dickinson, Business Manager for Optoelectronic products at GTK, said, "This product is ideal for OEM's who want to make the transition from a mono to colour TFT display, but have not used graphic modules before or don't have significant in-house R&D and programming resources. The ASIC on-board controller makes the whole process much simpler and helps to accelerate time to market for new products, something which is becoming increasingly important in today's electronics marketplace."
