CGTech to Feature VERICUT CNC Machine Simulation at EuroMold 2011

CGTech will feature the latest release of VERICUT CNC machine simulation and optimisation software on stand J27 Hall 8  at EuroMold 2011 in Frankfurt on November 29th - December 2nd 2011.

VERICUT is used extensively by manufacturing companies in order to increase the efficiency of CNC machining operations and to eliminate the risk of expensive machine and component collisions.

VERICUT 7.1 features significant enhancements to reduce the time required for manufacturing engineers to easily develop, analyze, inspect and document the CNC programming and machining process. Along with proactively adding new features, CGTech developers and engineers focused on addressing hundreds of customer-driven enhancements. Version 7.1 contains over 400 customer requests and further improvements to VERICUT’s user interaction, simulation capabilities and analysis, cutting tool creation, and CAD/CAM integration. New features include:

VERICUT REVIEWER
This collaboration tool allows 3D simulations to  be shared with anyone in the company  without the need for a VERICUT license. The Reviewer can play forward and backward while removing and replacing material. Error messages and NC program text is highlighted when a collision on the stock or fixture is selected. A tool path line display is optional. The user can rotate, pan and zoom just like normal VERICUT, and the cut stock can be measured using all the standard X-caliper tools. The Reviewer file can be saved at any point in a VERICUT session.

CAD MODEL ASSEMBLY
Leading cutting tool manufacturers are increasingly making their toold available in 3D model format for use in CAD/CAM systems This feature supports STEP, CATIA, and Siemens NX model types. and allows 3D tools to be imported directly into the VERICUT Tool Manager..

MACHINE TOOL COMPATIBILITY
VERICUT simulates all types of CNC machine tools, including those from leading manufacturers such as Mori Seiki, Mazak, Makino, Matsuura, Hermle, DMG and Chiron.

CAD/CAM INTEGRATION
VERICUT runs standalone, but can also be integrated with leading CAM systems such as Catia, Siemens NX, PTC Creo, MasterCAM, EdgeCAM, GibbsCAM,Open Mind HyperMILL, Delcam PowerMill and Missler TopSolidCAM. New interaces are also available for Delcam FeatureCAM, SolidCAM, InventorCAM and Esprit.
