Norbar Expands Range Of Trutorque Wrenches

Norbar has extended its range of Trutorque torque wrenches with two models suited to tough environments. The new models are extremely durable and increase the Trutorque range from 1 to 300Nm. The Trutorque wrenches are accurate to +/ - three per cent of reading, which exceeds all international standards.

Each wrench is supplied with a coded calibration certificate to help compliance and traceability. These new Trutorque models are easily adjusted and feature a coarse scale and a micrometer for fine setting. These new Trutorque wrenches move with fingertip control over the whole length of the scale.

The new handle design incorporates a lock to prevent accidental adjustment of the set torque. It is extremely comfortable and features excellent slip resistance in all conditions. The tough ratchets are reversible and their narrow engagement angles allow the Trutorques to be used in tight spaces. The ratchets on models of 100Nm and above are push-through, meaning that these wrenches provide torque control in the clockwise and anti-clockwise directions.

The tools are made in England by Norbar and calibrated in-house, with traceability provided by measuring equipment calibrated in Norbar's UKAS-accredited torque-calibration laboratory.
