Beko Provides On-The-Spot Compressor Examinations

Beko has introduced Beko Check, a quick on-the-spot examination of a compressor installation. This is intended to provide a clear indication of whether the user is operating within the legal requirements and what needs to be done if he or she is not. According to the company, everyone operating a compressed-air system has to ensure that unacceptable levels of oil-contaminated condensate are not discharged to the sewer and river system. Beko offers a range of oil/water separators and condensate drains to help users meet their legal obligations. The company can also provide an engineer to install equipment for customers that decide to place an order. It is a free service offered without obligation.

Beko To Exhibit Products At Air-Tech 2010

Image
Beko Technologies will showcase a range of products at the Air-Tech 2010 exhibition, which is scheduled to be held at the NEC in Birmingham on 8-10 June. The company, which will be found in Hall 3, Stand A3217, will exhibit the Bekokat and the Metpoint live demonstration unit, flowmeters and dewpoint meters. Bekokat provides oil-free air regardless of the compressor type or ambient conditions. Metpoint is able to verify the resulting air oil content right down to ISO class-zero quality and gives a clear and constant indication of which class is being achieved. The combination of these two products is intended to give air users with critical applications peace of mind thanks to a built-in alarm contact. Flowmeters and dewpoint meters enable customers to find out the quality and consumption of their compressed air. Leak Detector, which will also be exhibited at the event, is claimed to offer a simple, low-cost way of reducing air loss in compressed-air systems. The company can show ...

Beko Unveils Compressed-Air E-Learning Programme

Image
Beko Technologies has developed an interactive internet-based e-training concept that enables the compressed-air specialist to realise the global knowledge transfer of its staff worldwide. Study contents of the online academy are also accessible as an e-learning course to all - an interactive knowledge pool, for example, for engineers, universities, students and compressed-air users. The company said the purpose of the academy is to be able to learn independently anywhere in the world and deal in an efficient manner with the time resources of the learner. Beko Technologies is active worldwide with 15 branch offices where it employs nearly 300 staff members - with an upward trend. This development made increasingly greater demands on the education and further education of the personnel and on the need for information for customers and their employees. It was found that the training courses, initially planned as regular in-class lectures, did not guarantee the desired learning efficienc...

Beko Showcases Bekomat 33 Condensate Drain

Image
The Bekomat 33 condensate drain from Beko Technologies was presented for the first time at this year's Hannover trade fair in Germany on 20-24 April. The company's Bekomat 33 builds on the existing range, which includes the Bekomat 31 and the Bekomat 32. All three drains in the range have the same basic concept in common: the Beko service module. This module contains all wearing parts in a corrosion-resistant housing, which is said to be fitted in seconds. The Bekomat 33 features a condensate receiver tank to cater for larger condensate output and a larger valve orifice. When changing the service unit, the condensate tank remains in place attached to the compressed-air system, eliminating the time-consuming de-coupling of solid pipework, according to the company. Every service unit is pressure and function tested at the Beko factory and requires no electrical installation, other than unplugging the electrical housing and plugging it back in again once the drain is serviced.
