Tregaskiss has improved the look and flexibility of its line of TGX semi-automatic MIG guns. Designed for light- to medium-duty welding applications, the following TGX MIG guns are available: XL 400A, XL300A, XS 300A, XS 260A and XS 180A. Suitable for light fabrication, hobbyist welding and repairs, the guns complement the company's Tough Gun MIG guns, which are designed for more demanding, higher-amperage welding applications. TGX MIG guns now feature a black polymer armoured-style gooseneck that is suitable for light- and medium-duty applications and new grey gun handles, black triggers and a new rear handle. Available in three standard lengths of 10ft (3m), 12ft and 15ft, all TGX MIG guns now also feature Tregaskiss's Tough Lock retaining heads with dual taper technology. Commercial Metals Company (CMC) has invested in a FICEP semi-automatic SCS 100L sawing line. The machine has been installed in the company's warehousing and office facility in Cardiff. FICEP was chosen after CMC purchased two other smaller NC saws purchased from FICEP when the company opened for business in 2008. CMC has decided to use FICEP as its preferred supplier after evaluating many other specialist companies providing sawing solutions.
